I just wanted to directly respond to some comments people have been making. It’s true that there have been massive delays and, at times, a lack of communication on my part about why they’re happening. These frustrations are well-founded. I’ve been unprofessional about keeping up with these, and I certainly should not have advertised for more when the backlog is in such a state.
I let stress get the better of me and stretched myself too thin, at the cost of expediency and the trust of many of my fans. This is not a new habit; for years I have often over-promised and, panicking about things, committed myself to more than I am able to do. I will re-evaluate my practices moving forward and prioritize fulfilling the obligations I have made.
It’s very embarrassing to have to address this, but you guys deserve better. If you have a commission from me and would like a refund, just e-mail me directly and let me know, but fulfilling the list as it exists now will be my top priority. So, if you have a commission, it will be done soon. I will not advertise again until all of them are complete, and in the future I will take commissions on in much, much smaller batches.
